Bio:
I've completed a degree in Biology and Teacher Training College and have my credentials from Tourism School in Austria, where I'm from. German is my first language and I speak some Swedish and French as well - and English fluently, of course. When I'm not working, I'm traveling, hiking, skiing, scuba diving, swimming or jogging.
What our clients have said:

"I loved Sandra! She was so much fun! She prepared the most amazing meals, was tireless in her work and enjoyed it all! She was fun to travel with!"
-- Jolene Bergeson (Alberta, Canada) October 2009 Kauri

"Sandra is a great cook and a patient, steady co-guide. She got on with everyone and went out of her way to please us. Wonderful to be around."
-- Ann Burkhart (Seattle, USA) October 2009 Rimu

"Sandra is a lovely lady of unfailing good humor. She participated fully in creating a laid back atmosphere and promoting good fellowship within the group. She patiently rounded up stray hikers like a border collie!"
-- Irene Reiner (Georgia, USA) March 2009 Manuka

"Sandra was tireless in her work, too. She was the perfect complement to Mike (our lead guide). From sun-up to sundown, she was never without a smile though her work was never-ending. Patience is definitely one of Sandra's many virtues and she is most appreciated, too."
-- Lori Bennett (Florida, USA) March 2009 Manuka

"Sandra was amazing - with what I think is a very demanding job - cooking for a group of people and pleasing all of them (as she most definitely did) after riding *and* hiking all day. She was always in excellent spirits, and her enthusiasm was infectious. Great empathy!"
-- Shirley Harkess (North Carolina, USA) March 2009 Manuka

"Sandra did a great job cooking for the whole group under tough conditions (working out of a trailer and having a short time to prepare the meals). She did an even better job providing me with safe, gluten free foods."
-- Sandra Lockhart (Georgia, USA) March 2009 Manuka

"Sandra was awesome. Always smiling, despite all her hard work. Very professional and had great patience. Very kind-hearted."
-- Malik Kahook (Colorado, USA) February 2009 Manuka

"Sandra was also a consummate professional. She made sure she understood our individual dietary needs and preferences. She was very attentive and did an excellent job planning and preparing the meals and arranging for our accommodations. She also was very knowledgeable about NZ."
-- Amy Beckman (New York, USA) February 2009 Manuka

"Sandra was terrific - cooking, hiking with us, fun to talk to - a great addition to your team."
-- Janet Salverson (Alabama, USA) December 2008 Manuka
