Bio: Roger Leigh is truly a man of adventure. He has spent three of the past four Northern Hemisphere summers in Coloma, USA as a white water rafting guide. He loves the outdoors and has completed numerous personal adventures in New Zealand including sea kayaking around New Zealand's windswept Stewart Island and running the 60km Kepler Track - a renowned alpine mountain circuit on the edge of Fiordland National Park. He recently kayaked down the Hollyford River to its outlet at the Tasman Sea, where he turned south past some of the most rugged coastline New Zealand has to offer, before completing his epic journey in Milford Sound. This softly spoken Kiwi possesses abundant energy and enthusiasm, along with a wry sense of humour. What our clients have said: "Roger, what can I say... as someone who has led outdoor trips for teeneagers, I know the job. Rog was flawless. Never seemed tired (even when he was), he was an even-keel, helpful, patient, affable, funny, and very knowledgeable about the area. We nicknamed him "the rock" because our group found him so reliable and he had a way of putting everyone at ease. Excellent leadership. Bravo Roger!"
