Name:

Position:
Co-Guide/Cook

Bio:
I’m originally from Wellington, New Zealand’s capital city. Over the past decade, I’ve been working and studying towards a career in the outdoors, completing my Certificate in Outdoor Recreation and Advanced Certificate in Leadership and Guiding. I’ve travelled throughout New Zealand and Australia, working in such far-flung locations as the stunning Whitsunday Islands on the Queensland Coast where I was a sea kayaking guide. My interests include white water kayaking, downhill mountain biking and V8 super cars! Before I started guiding for ACTIVE I was working as Operations Manager and lead sea kayak guide in the Abel Tasman National Park. I have a real passion for the New Zealand outdoors and a keen interest in sharing it with you!

What our clients have said:

"I cannot say enough good things about Bee. A fantastic sense of humour, great personality and great cook. She really worked at making a personal connection with every member of our group. She handled our one 'high maintenance' member with more patience and grace than I ever would have. She went above and beyond what I would ever have expected a guide to do. She helped with Christmas activity booking and arranging dinners in Queenstown on our day off during a national holiday and did it all with a smile and endless energy. It felt like she was personally taking care of just me and yet she was providing that same level of attention to 12 people. She will be a big part of our memories of New Zealand. If I did another trip I would want to specifically request that she be on it. Bee rocks!"

"Bee is so enthusiastic about all things outdoors and likes to get involved. She has a wicked sense of humour which helps a group gel together. She is very well informed on all aspects of New Zealand culture and caring and patient with everyone in the group. The food she produced was always excellent. Bee surely loves her job and it showed in everything that she did with the group. Nothing was too much trouble and she kept the party going!! "
